Lara on Dreamcast? - By Omnesolis on 01/20/2K
Source: Videogames.com: Saw over there that Core has officially signed on to do some games for the Dreamcast. As you may or may not have remembered, Core had an exclusivity agreement with Sony, but that agreement ran out last year. Think, you will soon see Lara running at 60 fps and in full polygonal glory!

Sorry - By Omnesolis on 01/20/2K
I have to apologize for myself, Rob, and Flamethrower for the general lack of updates to the site. We all have our own reasons for not posting. As for me, I just didn't have the time. And I won't for a little while still. I'll try hard to get updates up, but it isn't easy as I'm bogged down with work.

Unreal Tournament Review - By Omnesolis on 01/13/2K
Sorry for my lack of updates, but I had some pc problems. I posted my review of Unreal Tournament, giving it a score of 9.5 out of 10 (simply because I will most likely never give a game a score of 10). Check it out, and visit the Forums and let me know what you think.

Videogames.com announces Games of the Year - By NJR_Flamethrower on 01/08/2K
Videogames.com has announced their picks for The Games of the Year. Some winners include Syphon Filter, Final Fantasy 7, Medal of Honor, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. In my opinion, the over-all game of the year was a big suprise...so go over and see for yourself.

Valve's High-Speed Network - By Omnesolis on 01/08
Source: Gamespot: Valve, the makers of the insanely popular Half-Life, has decided to make a network specifically designed for online, multiplayer gaming. They realized that the internet wasn't very good at providing fast and efficient gaming during the development of Team Fortress 2. Their new network, named PowerPlay 1.0, will soon be carried by a national ISP, and is specifically decided to get rid of lag. Several developers have signed on to include PowerPlay 1.0 in their games, among these being Valve and Bioware.

Tim Schafer leaves LucasArts - By Omnesolis on 01/08
Source: Gamespot: Tim Schafer, best known for his work on Grim Fandango, has left LucasArts to pursue other interests. Considering that many former LucasArts employees have left and created such companies as Nihilistic and Infinite Machine, it's more than likely that Schafer will form his own team.

Source: videogames.com: Namco has now officially stated that they WILL bring at least two more games to the Dreamcast, something that goes against earlier reports that Namco would stop producing Dreamcast games. Namco also stated that the game would be an already established game on the Playstation console. Possible games: Tekken, Time Crisis, Klonoa, and a few others.
